The PMW High Energy Mixer aggressively mixes asphalt and aggregate. Two independently driven, 1 horsepower motors counterturn the paddle and bowl, providing shorter mixing times and ensuring good aggregate coating by the asphalt. Using either an 11.5 quart mixing bowl or an optional 16 quart mixing bowl, the mixer can make larger batches of asphalt than most others on the market. The mixer (except motor, gearboxes, and drum drive assembly), paddle and bowls are made of 304 stainless steel to ease cleaning and provide sturdy, rugged functionality.
